Triplet (Èta Òkò)

Ojo Olaniyi

Line drawing of a woman holding three babies while three other children sit at her feet. There are depictions of the children at the sides of the image.

"Triplet (Èta Òkò)" is a thought-provoking artwork that explores the intricate relationships between culture, identity, and community. The piece is inspired by the Yoruba concept of "Èta Òkò," which represents the interconnectedness of three entities.

Through Epoxy Etching, I aim to capture the essence of unity, balance, and harmony that defines this concept. The artwork invites viewers to reflect on the significance of community, tradition, and cultural heritage in shaping our individual and collective experiences.

Medium: Epoxy Etching
Size:60/80cm
