Minotaur Nutrition

Your gasp is thievery
greedy for fat.
You can’t wait for sky quiet
the hard-wired carbine.

Think not of your father
cigarette crisscross
the hole filled with snowfall
slaughter and swamp.

The maze glows ghost pink
the deer and the possum
paddling the creek
once rain stops and wind’s glossy.

Cats vomit prairies
the yellow fox counting
then pawning your beads.
