Odyssea
To end my life with the ending of my life,
I record that I returned to him in January.
The month doesn’t matter. Ten years is
what matters. Ten years of living with
strangers. He asked me if the stars and moon
look like this where I’m from.
I told him winter is turning into spring.
He said we didn’t go into the sea
because he doesn’t know how to swim.
To which I said, I can teach you.
